I'm Marian and here's how you win a prize on Valtorix
I'm Marian, and I built Valtorix because I wanted a competitions platform I would have wanted to enter myself. In this article I'll walk you through exactly how it works — from your first visit to the moment a prize reaches its winner.
Step 1 — You choose a competition
On the homepage you'll see every active competition. Each one shows the prize image, the entry price, the total number of entries available, the maximum entries per participant, and the exact draw date. All public, all visible before you sign up. You read the rules, you see the cash alternative, you understand exactly what you're entering for. No surprises.
Step 2 — You enter
Two routes, the same real chance:
Online: you pick your numbers (or auto-generate them), answer a short skill question, and pay for your entry. Under a minute.
By post (free): you send a postcard with your details and your answer to the skill question. Under the Gambling Act 2005, the free postal route has exactly the same probability of winning as the paid route.
The skill question isn't a formality. It's what makes Valtorix a skill-based competition, not a game of chance. Your answer is logged and verified.
Step 3 — You wait for the draw (and watch it live)
On the announced day, the draw is broadcast live on the site. You see the winning numbers being selected in real time, in the same moment as everyone else. No private version, no "we'll announce the winner later."
If you want to keep up with every competition and draw, you'll find us on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. That's where we post announcements before every launch, behind-the-scenes moments, and live draws. Turn on notifications so you don't miss the moment a prize is on its way to a winner.
After the draw
The winner is contacted directly, the prize is delivered, and the moment is documented. The list of recent winners stays public on the site, so you can always see who won and what.
About responsible play
Every account has access to self-exclusion tools and spending limits. If you feel you need a break, you set it yourself — Valtorix respects it automatically.
That's it. Three steps, two entry routes, one clear standard for every competition. If you have questions, write to us — I answer personally when I can.
— Marian
