3.2 If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website and do not enter any Competition.

3.3 These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Promoter.

4. Eligibility

4.1 Competitions are open to natural persons aged 18 years or over, resident in the United Kingdom or a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA).

4.2 The following are not eligible: (a) employees, directors, and contractors of the Promoter; (b) members of their families (spouse, partner, parents, children, siblings); (c) any person professionally involved in the organisation or administration of the Competitions.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and residency at any time. Participants who are unable to provide such proof will be disqualified and their Entries cancelled without right to a refund.

4.4 It is the Participant's responsibility to ensure that the laws of their country of residence permit participation in prize competitions.

5. Account Creation

5.1 To enter Competitions, you must create an Account on the Website by providing accurate and complete information (name, address, email, date of birth, telephone number).

5.2 Only one Account per natural person is permitted. Creating multiple accounts will result in the suspension or closure of all associated accounts and the cancellation of all Entries, without right to a refund.

5.3 You are responsible for the security of your password and for all activities carried out through your Account. You must notify the Promoter immediately in the event of any unauthorised access.

5.4 Account information must be kept up to date at all times. The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of a Prize due to incorrect or outdated contact details.

6. How to Enter a Competition

6.1 There are two methods of entry, both offering equal chances of winning:

(a) Online Entry (paid)

  • Log in to your Account on the Website

  • Select the desired Competition

  • Correctly answer the Qualifying Question

  • Select the number of Entries desired

  • Complete payment through the available methods on the Website

  • You will receive confirmation of your Entry/Entries by email

(b) Free Postal Entry (see §7 for full details)

6.2 Each Competition displays on its page: the price per Entry, the maximum total number of Entries, the maximum number of Entries per Participant, the date and time of the Draw, a description of the Prize, and the value of the Cash Alternative.

6.3 Only Participants who have answered the Qualifying Question correctly are included in the Draw.

6.4 Entries are valid only for the Competition for which they were purchased and cannot be transferred to other Competitions or other persons.

7. Free Postal Entry

7.1 You may enter any Competition free of charge by sending an unsealed postcard to the following address:

Valtorix Competitions27 Longbridge RoadBarking, Essex, IG11 8TNEngland

7.2 The following must be written legibly by hand on the postcard:

  • Full name

  • Full address

  • Telephone number

  • Email address (identical to the one on your Account)

  • The name of the Competition you wish to enter

  • Your answer to the Qualifying Question

7.3 One Entry per postcard only. Submitting multiple requests in a single envelope will be counted as a single Entry.

7.4 You must have an active Account on the Website with the same personal details as those on the postcard.

7.5 The postcard must be received at the above address before the closing date of the Competition. Entries received after this date will not be included in the Draw.

7.6 The Promoter will send an email confirmation with the allocated Entry number within 5 working days of receiving the postcard.

7.7 Postal entries have the same chance of winning as online purchased Entries.

7.8 The cost of postage is borne by the Participant. The Promoter is not responsible for correspondence lost, delayed, or damaged by postal services.

8. Prices and Payments

8.1 The price per Entry is displayed on the page of each Competition and includes VAT where applicable.

8.2 Payment is made through the methods accepted on the Website (debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other available methods).

8.3 Payment must be completed in full before the Entry is validated and included in the Draw.

8.4 All transactions are processed in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). For payments in other currencies, conversion is made automatically at the rate applied by the payment processor.

8.5 The Promoter does not charge any additional fees beyond the displayed price per Entry. Any fees charged by the Participant's bank or payment processor are not the responsibility of the Promoter.

9. Qualifying Question

9.1 Each Competition includes a Qualifying Question — a skill-based question that the Participant must answer correctly.

9.2 The Qualifying Question is displayed during the purchase process, before payment is completed.

9.3 Only Participants who have answered the Qualifying Question correctly are included in the Draw. Incorrect answers do not generate any right to participate in the Draw, and the relevant Entry will not be refunded.

9.4 All answers are recorded in the system for audit and legal compliance purposes.

10. Competition Rules

10.1 Each Competition displays on its page the specific rules, including:

  • Maximum total number of Entries available

  • Maximum number of Entries per Participant

  • Price per Entry

  • Exact date and time of the Draw

  • Full description of the Prize

  • Value of the Cash Alternative

10.2 The Draw takes place at the scheduled date and time, regardless of the number of Entries sold. Competitions are not postponed or extended to sell more Entries.

10.3 The maximum number of Entries cannot be modified or extended after the Competition has launched.

10.4 Prizes do not roll over from one Competition to another. Each Competition is independent.

10.5 If a Competition has no Participants (neither paid nor postal), the Competition is cancelled with no effect.

10.6 Where specific rules are displayed on a Competition page, they shall prevail over the general rules in these Terms, to the extent of any differences.

11. Winner Selection

11.1 The Winner is selected by computerised random generation from among all Participants who correctly answered the Qualifying Question.

11.2 The Draw may be broadcast live on the Promoter's social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok). Dates and broadcast links will be announced on the Website and on social media.

11.3 The Winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 48 hours of the Draw.

11.4 The Winner's name and locality will be published on the Website and on the Promoter's social media channels (see §15 — Publicity).

11.5 The Promoter's decision regarding the selection of the Winner is final and cannot be contested.

12. Claiming the Prize

12.1 The Winner has 21 calendar days from the date of notification to claim the Prize.

12.2 To claim, the Winner must provide:

  • A valid photo identification document (passport or driving licence)

  • Proof of residential address (utility bill or bank statement, no older than 3 months)

  • Proof of age (minimum 18 years)

12.3 The details provided must match those on the Website Account. Discrepancies may result in disqualification of the Winner.

12.4 If the Winner does not respond within the 21-day period or does not meet the verification requirements, the Prize is forfeited and a new Draw is conducted from the same eligible Participants. The new Winner also has 21 days to claim.

12.5 Cash prizes are transferred exclusively to a bank account in the Winner's name. The Winner must provide proof of account ownership within 14 days of acceptance.

13. Prizes

13.1 The Prize for each Competition is described on the relevant Competition page, including specifications, estimated value (RRP), and representative photographs.

13.2 The Winner may choose between the physical Prize or the Cash Alternative, equal to 80% of RRP. The choice must be communicated to the Promoter within 14 days of confirmation of the win.

13.3 If the Winner does not communicate their choice within the 14-day period, the Promoter will deliver the physical Prize.

13.4 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with another prize of equal or greater value, in exceptional circumstances (unavailability, supplier disruption). The Winner will be informed in advance.

13.5 Physical prizes:

  • Delivery is free of charge within the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). For other destinations, delivery costs are borne by the Winner

  • Insurance, taxes, and any other costs subsequent to delivery are the responsibility of the Winner

13.6 Prizes are personal and non-transferable. They may not be sold, assigned, or transferred to third parties.

13.7 The Promoter is not responsible for defects arising after delivery. The manufacturer's warranty applies.

13.8 The Winner is responsible for any tax obligations relating to the Prize, in accordance with the laws of their country of residence.

14. Storage and Delivery

14.1 Physical prizes are stored free of charge by the Promoter for a period of 30 calendar days from the date of confirmation of the win.

14.2 After the expiry of the 30-day period, storage costs are borne by the Winner.

14.3 The Winner must arrange collection or delivery of the Prize within the free storage period.

14.4 If the Prize is not collected within 90 days from the date of confirmation, the Promoter reserves the right to dispose of it, without obligation of compensation.

15. Publicity

15.1 By entering a Competition, the Winner consents to the publication of their name, locality, and photograph on the Website and the Promoter's social media channels.

15.2 The Winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activities (photographs, short videos, testimonials), without additional compensation.

15.3 Refusal to participate in publicity activities does not affect the right to the Prize, but the Promoter reserves the right to publish the Winner's name and locality for the purpose of transparency.

16. Refund Policy

16.1 Entries to Competitions are final and non-refundable. Once you have purchased an Entry, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or transferred.

16.2 Exception: in the event that the Promoter cancels a Competition (see §22 — Force Majeure), Participants will receive a full refund via the same payment method or equivalent credit to their Account, at the Participant's choice.

16.3 Free entries (via the postal route) do not involve any financial transaction and do not generate any right to a refund.

17. Prohibited Activities

17.1 The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in the suspension or closure of the Account, cancellation of Entries, and exclusion from all Competitions, without right to a refund:

  • (a) Creating multiple accounts or using false identities

  • (b) Using automated tools, bots, scripts, or software of any kind to enter

  • (c) Any form of fraud, manipulation, or attempt to influence the outcome of the Draw

17.2 The Promoter reserves the right to investigate any suspicious activity and to take the necessary measures, including reporting to the relevant authorities.

18. Chargebacks

18.1 Initiating an unjustified chargeback or payment dispute will result in the immediate suspension of the Account and cancellation of all active Entries.

18.2 In the case of an unjustified chargeback, the Participant is responsible for all costs associated with recovering the amount, including payment processor fees and administrative costs.

18.3 The Promoter reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings to recover the amounts and associated costs.

18.4 If you have a problem with a transaction, please contact our support team at [email protected] before contacting your bank.

19. Limitation of Liability

19.1 The Promoter is not responsible for:

  • (b) Loss, delay, or damage of postal correspondence

  • (c) Errors in electronic data transmission

  • (d) Unauthorised actions by third parties on the Participant's Account

19.2 The Promoter's maximum liability towards a Winner is limited to the value of the Prize for the relevant Competition. Towards a Participant who has not won, maximum liability is limited to the total sum paid by that Participant in the preceding 12 months.

19.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

19.4 The Promoter makes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on the Website, but does not guarantee that it is complete, up to date, or error-free at all times.

20. Data Protection

20.1 Participants' personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Website.

22. Force Majeure

22.1 The Promoter is not responsible for the failure to perform or delay in performing obligations caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, armed conflicts, governmental actions, strikes, interruptions to utility or telecommunications services.

22.2 In the event that a force majeure event makes it impossible to conduct a Competition, the Promoter may cancel the Competition with notification to Participants. In this case, Participants will receive a full refund of amounts paid.

22.3 The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of force majeure events on Participants.

23. Changes to Terms and Conditions
